About
I picked up a VIC-20 at age five. I founded IAT Software because I still think computers can think deductively.
I design and ship production-grade software that researchers actually use. For twelve years I have owned the entire lifecycle of IAT Software — a SaaS platform that lets non-engineers create, deploy, and analyze Implicit Association Tests based on Harvard methodology.
The original WinForms client is 600+ classes, 50+ custom UI objects, and real multithreading. It delivered: Oxford, Princeton, high-school psychology labs. It also became expensive to change. The WPF rewrite is how the product survives the next decade — deliberate, layered, and built to last.
I don’t chase frameworks. I ship maintainable, correct software. Every line in the rewrite is written with the same discipline that got the original adopted: clear separation of concerns, domain objects that hold data, and services that own infrastructure only.
I don’t chase frameworks — I ship maintainable, correct software.
